I’m Dakota. Photographer, hype girl, and someone who actually cares about what’s behind the photos.
I’m a hopeless romantic at heart. Blame the books I read, but I love love, I love connection, and I love hearing the stories that brought people to where they are.
On your wedding day, I’ll be whatever you need me to be. Your hype girl, your calm presence, your extra set of hands, or the one finding you a quiet corner so you can just breathe for a second.
I read people well, and I care about how you feel in every moment. You’re never just another client to me.
Outside of photography, here’s me in real life:
- mom to a 4 year old and married to my high school sweetheart
- somehow also a blue collar social media manager (I know… wild combo)
- long drives with music way too loud = my therapy
- always in the middle of a book (the more emotional, the better)
- big on giving back and showing up for my people whenever I can
- have a degree in human development and family studies… which probably explains a lot
